By manufacturing packaging products, MoloPak understands the importance of environmental protection and takes care of the environment. How do we do it:
Cardboard, as well as other materials from MoloPak suppliers, are thoroughly checked according to all necessary criteria, the main of which is environmental safety. When choosing suppliers, we always take into account their environmental views and principles. Since the packaging consists of 80% wood (natural material), it is important for us that this wood is obtained from a legal forest, where logging is strictly controlled and new trees are regularly planted.
Our production is environmentally friendly and practically waste-free. This is mainly due to the fact that offset and flexographic printing methods are used in the production of packaging.
Offset printing
Offset printing plates are made of aluminum, so after use, they are remelted into new offset plates.
Flexographic printing
This type of printing uses molds made of photopolymer plates. These printing plates are reusable, so they minimize the number of new orders and the disposal of old ones.
Efficient logistics
One 1–liter cardboard package weighs only 29 grams, and a 0.5-liter package weighs 18 grams. During transportation, the packaging is compactly folded into corrugated boxes, then stacked on pallets and sealed. Thus, 95% of the total weight of the cargo is occupied by the packaging itself (net weight), the remaining 5% is occupied by boxes, pallets and crates.
"Compact" transportation saves fuel and reduces the release of pollutants into the atmosphere.
Effective coordination
In most cases, we try to coordinate the layout using realistic 3D models of packages that allow us to see the updated product design already on the selected package.
This approach makes it possible to reduce customer visits to us for the production and launch of text samples, which saves material and energy resources.
RECYCLING
It has always been important for MoloPak to be responsible not only for production waste, but also for the future of the products it produces. The fate of the packaging is important after it fulfills its task of preserving the products for the end user.
To convey the importance of proper disposal of packaging after use and further recycling, we have placed a block with an online recycling map – RECYCLEMAP.
