Storage rules

In order for the blanks to pass through the filling machine normally, they must be stored under certain conditions. The main factors affecting the condition of the workpieces are temperature, humidity and shelf life.
The picture shows a variant of a properly organized warehouse.

Attention! When storing, it is forbidden to put pallets one on top of the other!

Temperature.
The storage temperature should be within 21 -/+ 2 degrees C. If the blanks are stored at a lower temperature, a higher sealing temperature will be required, which may damage the plastic film of the package. Condensation can occur if blanks stored in a cold room are filled in a warm and humid room, which in some cases may make it impossible to seal the top and bottom of the package.

Humidity of the air.
The relative humidity in the warehouse should be within 30-40%. In order to ensure smooth and stable operation of the filling machine, the entire surface of the workpiece must have the same humidity within 5.5 -/+2%

Recommendations for warehousing.
Boxes of blanks should always be stored on pallets or shelves. It is forbidden to store them on a concrete floor, as the surface of the packaging material easily absorbs moisture. Do not stack bundles of workpieces in stacks of more than 10 boxes, as this may cause the lower bundles to be squeezed and the workpieces to be damaged. For liter packages, the height of the table should not exceed 8 boxes placed one on top of the other.

Shelf life.
The warehouse should be organized in such a way that the blanks brought first are the first to be used.

In addition, the warehouse must be large enough to ensure that the blanks are stored for 7 days before they are used. This is done to ensure that the workpieces reach the required temperature and humidity after transportation.
