Wine in a cardboard box

Gable Top and Brik Aseptic wine in cardboard packaging.

WINE is perhaps the most common alcoholic beverage in the world. And it remains popular from ancient times to this day. During all this time, the wine itself (formulation, varieties), packaging and drinking culture have changed. These were clay jugs, non-wooden barrels of various sizes, and glass containers. Yes, a glass bottle can rightfully be considered the most traditional wine vessel of the last century.

WE'RE CHANGING
The culture of consumption, attitudes towards food and containers are changing. Our generation is beginning to understand better the features of materials, their impact on the product and the environment.

Efficiency, visibility, and ergonomics are increasingly valued today.

ADVANTAGES OF PACKAGING

Cardboard packaging in contrast to glass classics:

  • It has a wider range of intermediate volumes from 250 to 1000 ml, which is important for a new target audience.
  • they have reliable protection from light and oxygen, preserving the color and taste of the wine.
  • It has ergonomic convenience for the consumer due to various formats.
  • it is safer for the consumer, as it will not crash. This makes it possible to use it at events where glass containers are prohibited for safety reasons.
  • lighter and more efficient for transportation (minimum empty space).
  • It has four printed sides on which information blocks can be placed and which open up wide design possibilities.

  • It keeps the wine open much longer – about 1 month versus 2-3 days in glass.
  • cheaper, which makes your product more accessible to the consumer.
  • it will not require a corkscrew compared to the "glass" options with a stopper.
